Summer is finally here!! And if you’ve ever spent a summer on Nantucket, you know it goes quick. Therefore, we checked in with a few of our staff here at Congdon & Coleman Real Estate to hear what summer experiences they definitely won’t let slip by. Have a great summer, everyone!

What are you most excited about this summer?
Maria:
I am most excited for the wave of concerts returning to The Muse and The Box.

What’s a summer treat you can’t live without?
Maria:
The best summer treat is going to the various farm stands and finding all of the fresh produce like some of the most amazing corn on the cob!

Where can we find you this summer when not at work?
Maria:
I want to be outdoors as much as possible-walking on trails, bike paths or hanging out at the beach. I also have a new found love of playing tennis!

What’s your favorite thing about Nantucket summers?
Joyce:
I like seeing my renters, my owners and choice of restaurants, the weather, fishing, dog walks, selling homes! Lobster rolls, any good seafood, Island Kitchen ice cream… my life in a nutshell.

That sounds amazing! Where can we find you this summer when not at work?
Joyce:
Probably reading a good mystery book at home (I’m not a beach person) but I do go after hours to collect beach glass.

What are your favorite summer activities?
Suzi:
Tennis, sailing, golf, beach picnics, shelling, sunsets, surfing, and dog walks. And getting together with family and friends. And of course, ice cream!

What’s your favorite thing about summer on Nantucket?
Allison:
The fresh sea air mixed with all the flowers and plants blooming around the island. Everywhere you look, you find yourself living in a real-life painting of quintessential New England beauty.

What are you most excited about?
Allison:
I am most excited to explore more walking trails. Nantucket has some of the most beautiful and complex ecosystems in the world, and I can’t wait to leash up my dog and head out to explore!

What’s your favorite summer treat?
Allison:
The best summer treat is the cherry chocolate chunk ice cream from Juice Bar.

Where can we find you this summer when not at work?
Allison:
Reading on the beach, or weaving Nantucket lightship basket bracelets somewhere in the sunshine.
